This recipe was shared by Teri Q., a Relief Squad member. A yummy, noodly, comforting meal for fall! And it's mostly done in the microwave: easy!
Ingredients
2 Tblsp. butter
1/3 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c . flour
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. half and half
12 oz. spaghetti, cooked
2 cups cut up cooked turkey ( can also sub chicken)
1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms drained
1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Place 2 tablespoons butter in small bowl. Microwave HIGH until butter melts. Stir in bread crumbs; set aside.
Place 1/4 cup butter in 2-quart casserole dish. Microwave HIGH until butter melts.
Blend flour, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper into butter. Stir in broth and half and half. Microwave POWER LEVEL 7 for 8-9 minutes or until mixture thickens; stirring every 2 minutes.
Stir in spaghetti, turkey, mushrooms and cheese. Cover; microwave POWER LEVEL7 for 5-6 minutes until heated through, stirring once.
Sprinkle with bread crumb mixture. Microwave uncovered POWER LEVEL 7 for 2 minutes or until hot.
